As an Occupational Therapist my main aim is to provide practical and emotional support to people to facilitate recovery and return to living independently following an injury.
Working in a neuro rehabilitation setting this allows me to explore various options and techniques to our residents to promote independence and overall satisfaction within their day to day routine.
I have been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2013 where I have worked in both acute and private settings. As a result of these experiences my passion for neuro-rehabilitation grew and grew. My last role was in New Zealand where I was supporting people to return to work following a head injury.
I am passionate about neurorehabilitation because of the challenges, diversity and goals that are overcome on a daily basis. I enjoy the fact that every day will be different!
