My role as a Speech and Language Therapist here includes assessment and management of communication and swallowing difficulties after brain injury / stroke. I think empathy and good working relationships between client, family/friends and therapist are vital when it comes to neuro-rehabilitation. I want my client’s goals to be meaningful to them on a personal level, and functional within an everyday setting. I am passionate when it comes to being an advocate for clients who have difficulties communicating.’
