Competence, Choice and Compassion– are these more than just words to you?
We need Carers whose values, behaviours and attitudes match our own and who have a passion for ensuring that our residents are at the centre of everything we do.
If you have these qualities, and can show empathy, compassion and natural warmth then we can train the skills you need for a joyful and heart-warming career, with real progression and development for those that want it.
Care isn’t just a job, it’s a career with progression
If you like variety and want to finish a shift feeling fulfilled, feeling that you have contributed to making a real difference to someone’s life, surrounded by likeminded people then this is the career for you. Your day won’t be constant personal care, you will have the honour to care for people who are just like your own family members, and who will love you for your kindness and compassion. You will deliver first rate care with compassion and courage, helping those who need our support to live moments of pleasure and happiness, in beautiful and safe surroundings.
Some duties will include:
- Being a caring and friendly companion to help our residents feel that Marbrook is their home.
- Empowering and supporting our residents to make their own choices.
- Helping residents with their daily activities like washing, dressing, eating.
You don’t need any qualifications or previous work experience, whatever your background, with our training and support we can build on your transferable skills.
This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity. We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all applications.
Working in care we are very fortunate to have access to regular Covid-19 testing and vaccinations. Our good infection control practise existed long before these unprecedented times, and we are fully equipped with PPE, if however you do want to have an informal discussion and re-assurance before applying we are happy to do so.
