Senior Chef

£12.36 per hour – 40 hours per week (hours are 07.30 – 18.00)

We have a superb opportunity for a talented, experienced and self-motivated Senior Chef to assist the team to deliver efficient and enticing menus

With previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, your duties will include preparing, cooking and presenting appetising, balanced and varied nutritious foods.

Ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times and the environment is safe you will also supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants to be efficient within their roles, and deputise in the absence of the Head Chef.

You will support the Head Chef in producing menus that are accessible to all residents and reflect season changes, as well as offering a choice, therefore previous care home experience and knowledge of IDDSI would be an advantage.
