30 hours per week (hours are 07.30 – 18.00, includes weekends)

Are you looking for an opportunity to start your career within the catering industry?

We are recruiting an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist our chefs with the food preparation for our residents.

Working as part of a friendly team you will;

  • help the chefs with basic food preparation
  • receive and unload deliveries
  • wash -up and keep our kitchen clean to a very high standard.

As a natural team player, you will be happy to get involved and work with our committed catering team to achieve a positive contribution to our residents lives, but above be keen to develop in a role and gain experience in all aspects of a fully working kitchen environment.

You will also get an opportunity to learn about the IDDSI food preparation requirements for special diets, and this role could be a first step into a catering career for someone willing to learn.
